After being the digital product and SaaS space for a few years. I know the value of doing an in depth discovery.
The whole idea is to build a proper plan around development and also determine feasibility, viability and desirability.
Doing a discovery was one of the criteria's for selecting an agency.
Upgraded's first sprint in the development process is called Sprint Zero. Which is a 1 week discovery. This is where they will outline the personas, determine which tech stack to use, do a competitor research etc.
One thing I like was that everything will be documented in Notion. This allows us to collaborate and share ideas/knowledge much faster
